PTP 700 - Wireless Broadband Solution with FIPS 140 & MIL-SPEC Standards

One radio — many missions.

PTP 700 is a Point-to-Point wireless broadband solution for mission-critical communications in government, industrial, and public safety spaces. With FIPS 140 security and NTIA spectrum certifications, PTP 700 provides models with integrated antennas and/or connectorized for external antennas – allowing for flexible antenna selection at time of deployment. The PTP 700 Beam Steering ODU with integrated Smart Antenna provides electronic beamforming that allows for easy tactical installation and best-in-class interference mitigation in addition to the industry-leading spectral efficiency and processing capabilities of the PTP 700 family of products.

PTP 700 for Mission-Critical PTP Communications Features FIPS 140-2 and NTIA Certification with 4.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz and 7.125 GHz to 8.5 GHz PTP Frequency

Overcoming obstacles

Dynamic Spectrum Optimization™(DSO)

Whether deploying in first-responder tactical situations, over water to oil platforms, in urban canyons to video cameras and hot-spots, or along remote stretches of national borders for defense and situational awareness, the requirements for high-speed connectivity intersect with constraints on available spectrum, line of sight and non-line of sight topologies, IT/Enterprise integration, cyber-security threat prevention, and harsh environmental conditions.   The challenging nature and complexity of these missions requires flexibility from systems that allow spectrum managers, network operators and implementation managers to negotiate changing program landscapes while staying within budgetary parameters. Dynamic Spectrum Optimization™ (DSO) is a unique capability offered by Cambium Networks that enables optimization of link performance by automatically sampling and changing channels to avoid interference without affecting link service. See the DSO White Paper for full details.
